Kefir food is tasty and nutritious, incredibly easy to prepare. You can even use an expired product for such recipes. From the "sour milk" make pies, muffins, pancakes using a frying pan or oven. Below I will describe the simplest, most delicious and most frequently used options for dishes.

For every housewife who loves to cook, if the recipe provides speed and simplicity, it is especially valuable. After all, it can help out if there is no time left, and there is a need to quickly bake something tasty for tea. Therefore, when the hostess asks herself the question “what should I quickly bake from kefir?”, Baking comes to mind: pies, muffins or cakes. I'll start with a cupcake recipe.

  • Beat eggs with sugar until foamy, add vanillin. Slowly pour kefir into the resulting dense mass, add butter (after melting in the microwave), mix everything.
  • Slowly, in small portions, stir in the flour, before combining with baking powder. It should be a liquid, but homogeneous dough.
  • Pour the dough into a mold greased with sunflower oil. Heat the oven to 180 degrees.
  • Bake for about 50 minutes. Willingness to check with a toothpick or wooden stick.

When the cupcake is cooked, remove it from the oven and set to cool. When the baking reaches room temperature, remove from the mold.

Pies

Ingredients:
  • Kefir - 250 ml.
  • Wheat flour - 3.5 cups.
  • Egg - 2 pcs.
  • Baking soda - 1 tsp.
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tsp.
  • Sugar - 1 tbsp. l
  • Salt - ¼ tsp
How to cook:

Combine kefir, eggs, sugar, soda and butter in a bowl.

Slowly mix the flour into the resulting mass. It is best done gradually, in a glass, stirring with a spoon. The finished dough should not stick to your hands, however, you can’t “go too far” with flour, otherwise it will become stiff, inelastic, and the pies will not turn out to be magnificent.

As soon as the dough is ready, proceed to the preparation of the filling: meat, potato, with egg and onions.

Brushwood

Ingredients:
  • Kefir - 1 glass.
  • Egg - 1 pc.
  • Sugar - 3 tbsp. l
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tbsp. l ..
  • Salt - ½ tsp
  • Soda - ½ tsp.
  • Wheat flour - 3 cups.
  • Vanilla sugar to taste.
Cooking:
  1. Mix the egg with granulated sugar and vanilla, then add salt.
  2. In the resulting mixture, mix the dairy products and butter. Add soda at the end.
  3. Mix the finished dough into a homogeneous mass. Sifted flour, slowly mixing, pour into the resulting egg mass.
  4. Cover the dough and put it in a warm, dark place.
  5. After 20 minutes, divide into two equal parts, roll out in the form of rectangles. Cut the resulting sheets into smaller rectangles. Cut each product in the middle and turn one half through the hole in the opposite direction.
  6. On a hot skillet, fry the twigs on both sides.Before serving, it is best to sprinkle baking powdered sugar.

Dumplings

Ingredients:
  • Wheat flour - 800 grams.
  • Kefir - 1 liter.
  • Sugar - 1 tbsp. l
  • Salt - 1 tsp.
  • Soda - 1 tsp.
Cooking:
  1. Pour kefir into a large bowl, add sugar, salt and soda. Thoroughly knead the resulting mass, and gradually pour the previously sifted flour.
  2. If the dough sticks a little to your hands, sprinkle it lightly with flour, but you should not be zealous, otherwise it will turn out like rubber.
  3. Divide the dough into approximately equal balls and roll out, but not too much. The thickness should be approximately three to four millimeters.
  4. We spread the resulting cakes on a heated frying pan, and fry on both sides to a golden blush.

Serve the dish hot, with honey, jam and warm milk!

Ingredients:
  • Kefir - 1 liter.
  • Sugar - 1 tbsp. l
  • Salt - 1 tsp.
  • Soda is a pinch.
  • Vegetable oil - 3 tbsp. l
  • Flour - 5 glasses.
  • Chicken eggs - 4 pcs.
Cooking:

Mix all ingredients except oil until smooth, and only then add it. The dough should be a little thicker than for pancakes.

Biscuit

Ingredients:
  • Egg - 1 pc.
  • Kefir - 7 tbsp. l
  • Sugar - 0.5 cups.
  • Wheat flour - 1 cup.
  • Soda - 1 tbsp. l
Cooking:

Mix the listed ingredients in a deep bowl. From the presented number of products, three medium-sized cakes are obtained. For the filling, you can use jam, jam, boiled condensed milk or any cream.
